Legal
Cookie notice
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. This notice describes which cookies Postino.net uses, and what for.
1. Cookies needed to run the site
Without these the site does not work, so we do not ask for consent — the legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the service.
SESSION IDENTIFIER
Keeps track that you are the same visitor during sign-in and registration. Expires when you close the browser.
CSRF TOKEN
Protects the forms. Without it another site could submit data in your name.
LANGUAGE CHOICE
Remembers the language you picked. Lasts one year.
APPEARANCE
Light or dark theme. Lasts one year.
2. Third-party cookies
When you pay, you are taken to PayPal's site, where PayPal's own cookies apply. We have no control over those and cannot see them. What PayPal stores is set out in their own privacy notice.
Which third parties receive data from us, and for what purpose, is listed in full in the privacy notice.
3. What we do not do
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not build a profile of you based on your activity on other sites.
MEASUREMENT
The site runs Google Tag Manager. It measures nothing by itself: it is a container through which we load the measurement code (Google Analytics). It only starts if you accept it on the cookie bar — until then, not a single measurement cookie is placed on your device. Measurement serves aggregate traffic figures: how many visitors arrive and which pages they view. Google receives the IP address truncated.
You can withdraw your consent at any time: delete the site's cookies in your browser and the bar reappears.
4. How to control cookies
You can delete cookies and block new ones at any time in your browser settings. If you block the cookies needed to run the site, sign-in and registration will not work.
Search for „cookies” in your browser's help to find the instructions.
